Dhaka Test: Rehman bowled Pakistan to seven wicket victory

Abdur Rehman’s produced a devastating four-wicket haul as Pakistan drubbed Bangladesh by seven wickets in the second and final Test in Dhaka on Tuesday to complete the whitewash across all formats.

The 31-year-old left-arm orthodox finished with the career-best 4-51 as Bangladesh were skittled away for 234 in their second innings, setting a miniature 102 run victory target for Pakistan, which they surpassed in 21st over.

Opener Mohammad Hafeez (47) and Azhar Ali (34) put on 63 runs for third wicket after first innings centurion Taufeeq Umar (3) edged to Mohammad Nazimuddin in slips off Nazmul Hossain early.

Hafeez was sparklingly galloping towards his seven Test half-century but Shakib ended up his march three runs adrift of feat caught by Nasir Hossain at mid-off. The 33-year-old in-form right-hander managed eight boundaries in his 52-ball knock.
