Markstrom made 40 saves as the Florida Panthers registered 2-1 victory over Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Centre on Monday night.
The Panthers won their second straight after a two-game losing streak last week where they were shutout in back-to-back games. On the other hand, Montreal faced their worst start to a season in 70 years, after Manday’s defeat, their losing streak extended to six games.
