Saturday’s competition between host Tigres de Aragua and Navegantes del Magallanes presented an entire new sport, being played after 51 hour abduction and release of Washington Nationals catcher Wilson Ramos.
Although Ramos was not on the list, but his suffering was in the thoughts of fans of Tigres. Tigres fan Eurico Rodrigues supposed he had followed the abduction “with quite a bit of grief” as a melodramatic notice of the fierce crime that outbreaks in Venezuela and particularly industrial cities such as Maracay and Valencia.
