Greg Chalmers triumphed in Australian Open tournament for the second time and Tiger Woods’ winless strip is extended further as he finished 3rd.
Chalmers is currently ranked 215th in the world and hails from Australia smashed a final-session 3-under-par 69 to conclude one hit forward of compatriot John Senden who scored 13-under-par cumulative of 275 at The Lakes Golf Club in Sydney. He is the winner of Australia’s most admired golf competition in 1998.
Australian open proved to be best tournament of 2011 for Woods as he finished with 5-under-par 67 to. “I’ve just got to keep plugging along,” Woods said. I’ve showed some progress. It’s nice to be out here and competitive and actually playing golf again. It’s nice not being on the sidelines.”
