Linebacker Dion Bailey recorded the first two interceptions of his career as the USC Trojans prolonged their domination over California Beats by thumping them with eighth uninterrupted defeat in this season after scripting five turnovers in a 30-9 triumph at AT&T Park on Friday.
In the game where former Cal All-America quarterback Craig Morton was selected to the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl board of directors, Bailey made the first pick when 49 seconds were left in the second quarter by making a hurdling grab of a pass by Cal’s Zach Maynard in the end zone to conserve a 20-0 lead. His second interception with just less then six minutes left in game assured the USC conquest.
