Once maligned in the city the NHL representative had his name intoned in the forecourt of MTS Centre on Sunday ahead of 1st game between Jets and Montreal Canadians.
However he was not sure if fans are actually extending support for him. He is repeatedly held liable for the league’s pronouncement to transfer the Jets to Phoenix in 1996. During that time Jets were struggling with appearance at the old Winnipeg Stadium.
