Demba Ba scored a hat-trick as Newcastle got a 3-1 victory over Blackburn Rovers at St James’ Park to continue its undefeated start to the season.
Ba opened the scoring in the 27th minute when he hit past Robinson from close range after receiving the ball from a good cross from Best.
Senegal international doubled Newcastle’s lead in the 30 minute lead when Jason Lowe failed to clear Steven Taylor’s header across goal and Ba pounced.
