Devils snapped four-game losing streak

The New Jersey Devils snapped a four-game losing streak with a 3-2 overtime victory against the Toronto Maple Leafs at Air Canada Centre on Tuesday evening.

Martin Brodeur presented best of his performance since Nov. 23 against the Columbus Blue Jackets, stopping 29 shots for the Devils for his first victory, while Clarkson ended a seven-game scoring drought by grabbing a power-play goal in first period and the “Winner” in the third period

“It’s a win we needed. When you come home, you get that feeling,” said Clarkson. “I don’t know what it is, but I love playing back here in Toronto. Coming back to my family, it’s one of those games where you get that little bit of jump in your step.”
