The director of West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), Baldath Mahabir, expressed his worry about the injury problem the side are facing nowadays. His two main subjects of concern are Adrian Barath and Devendra Bishoo.
Mahabir told the source: “We have had too many players breaking down over the past few seasons. I am particularly worried about two young players, Adrian Barath and Devendra Bishoo.”
“Barath is suffering from hamstring injury and two main things he needs to do at this stage, while he is not the part of the game, is to look at his body very closely and work on to understand what brings on the injury, said Mahabir. It’s not only an issue for the WICB or the T&T Cricket Board, he added.
