India pacer Praveen Kumar’s injury has proved much more problematic than it was considered as he has been ruled out of the impending away-Test series against Aussie by the Indian cricket governing body BCCI. He had initially been ruled out of the on-going ODI series against West Indies.
“Praveen Kumar underwent a scan last evening and was found to have a fractured rib as per the report that came through today,” a statement from BCCI read.
