Promising left-arm seamer Mohammad Khalil has replaced injured Juniad Khan in Pakistan squad for tour of Bangladesh.
29-year-old Khalil, who has not played for Pakistan since 2005, received the call-up after Junaid sustained a partial tear in his abdominal muscle during Pakistan’s last one-day international against Sri Lanka in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday. The MRI scan of 21-year-old revealed he needs to rest for at least six weeks.
