The International Cricket Council (ICC) chief executive, Haroon Lorgat, has clarified that they are not intended to reduce Mohammad Amir’s ban after he will serve his sentence for six month.
He insisted the impression that only the Pakistani players are being penalized is quite wrong; any player who will be found guilty of violating the game’s rules and regulations he will be dealt iron handedly regardless of their nationality, he continued. PCB seems serious in the battle against corruption, Lorgat added.
