Haddin announced retirement from Twenty20 cricket

Australian wicketkeeper-batsman Brad Haddin on Thursday announced his retirement from Twenty20 international cricket to concentrate on longer formats of sport.

“I thoroughly enjoy Twenty20 cricket and have taken great pride from playing all three forms of the game for Australia,” Haddin said while speaking to a leading Australian newspaper.

“However I feel the time is now right for me to concentrate on Test and one-day cricket,” he added.
