Flames 5-2 Minnesota Wild

Flames finished a three-game losing streak with a 5-2 win against the Minnesota Wild at the Xcel Energy Center on Sunday night.

Matt Giordano, Lee Stempniak and T.J. Brodie scored during first period to give Flames 3-2 lead, which remained constant till the end of second. lex Tanguay and Jarome Iginla had third-period goals to secure the victory for Calgary. Mikka Kiprusoff made 19 saves for the Flames.

Cal Clutterbuck put the Minnesota Wild ahead in the second minute of game with an assist from Mikko Koivu, who notched his team-leading 14th assist, but Giordano got equalizer just three minutes later.
