Blackburn Rovers beat Arsenal 4-3 at Ewood Park to reduce the pressure on manager Steve Kean.
Arsenal took the lead in the tenth minute when Gervinho struck the ball through Chris Samba’s legs and into the corner of Paul Robinson’s goal. Gervinho had a chance to score his second goal but slanted his effort desperately following Sagna’s cut-back.
Blackburn equalised the game through debutant Yakubu when he poked the ball past Szczesny from just inside the Arsenal box after a measured pass from Hoilett.
Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta scored from just inside the box after Aaron Ramsey’s intelligent cutback to give his side dominance once again.
