Portland Timbers and San Jose Earthquakes settled a 1-1 draw on Wednesday at JELD-WEN Field.
Timbers opened the scoreboard in the ninth minute when Darlington Nagbe turned to the touchline and cut the ball back for Kenny Cooper, who lifted his shot inside the far post.
Three minutes later, Nagbe forced Busch into an incredible reflex save. Jon Busch made six saves in total.
