Manchester City registered its first victory in the Champions League group stage, recording a 2-1 victory over Villarreal.
Cani put Villarreal ahead striking in the fourth minute, but a Carlos Marchena’s own goal two minutes before first half stoppage time, leveled the game for Mancini’s men before substitute Aguero snitched the winner.
Villarreal had stunned Manchester City by taking a fourth-minute lead through Cani after Rossi’s shot was hit at Joe Hart but the keeper dropped it, allowing Cani to grab the first goal for the visitors.
