The All-Star defenseman and team captain of Philadelphia Flyers, Chris Pronger will be sidelined for at least 2-3 weeks as the player suffered to an eye injury in 4-2 win against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday.
Pronger suffered to an injury to his right eye in the ninth minute of the first period when he was guarding against Leafs forward Mikhail Grabovski, who followed through with his shot and his stick hit Pronger in the right eye. Pronger immediately left the ice and was observed by team opthamologist Dr. Stephen Goldman.
