Wilson Ramos, a Washington Nationals’ catcher has been abducted from his family home in Valencia, Venezuela. According to the reports available so far, the 24-year-old Major-League Baseball player was kidnapped on Wednesday, Nov. 9 by four men carrying weapons Santa Ines.
A spokeswoman of Ramos’ winter league baseball team Aragua Tigres, Katherine Vilera said: “We are still waiting for any news about Wilson Ramos. All the authorities are working in the case. We need to be [patient] and pray.”
According to the latest reports regarding the case, the car which is allegedly being used in kidnapping has been found an hour away from Valencia, where the abduction took place. Venezuelan intelligence, however, as denied the rumor of Wilson’s death.
