Berdych Ends Murray’s Long Winning Streak

Andy Murray, who triumphed in 17-matches in a row, is stopped by Berdych. Victory was two points away from Murray at 5-5 in the second set but Berdych kept his equanimity and won the match. Berdych will either face Roger Federer or Juan Monaco on Saturday. Novak Djokovic has already withdrawn from the contest due to a shoulder injury prior to quarter-finals.

Berdych blocked Murray’s hopes of moving ATP World Tour finals in London with another victory under his belt. Murray earned 3 break points at very early stage. Maintaining the competition in balance Berdych kept 7 set points. Berdych forehand started to fire in 2nd set and he directed down few blistering returns to move 3-0 ahead.
