Mumbai Indians’ stand-in skipper Harbhajan Singh believes that their Champions League T20 conquest was the matter of getting Royal Challengers Bangalore’s top three Chris Gayle, Tillakaratne Dilshan, and Virat Kohli, whom they defeated by 31 runs in the final in Chennai on Sunday.
“We knew that of we could get Gayle, Virat and Dilshan, we will be right in the game. Shaun Pollock told us during the interval that if we try we could defend any total. We wanted to give our best shot. The body language of the boys was great and by the grace of God we got the desired result,” the jubilant said during the post-match-ceremony.
