Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for the following post for regular appointment in the Information Technology Centre, University of the Punjab, Lahore.
I. Network Administrator (IT. Centre) 17 30 • BS CS (4 years), BS IT (4 years), BS SE (4 years), MCS, M.Sc IT or equivalent qualification from HEC accredited Institute / University. Minimum 3 years or experience in LAN & WAN design and management in a Public/Private sector organization having a large number of nodes. Hands on expertise in ADS, DNS, DHCP. SAMBA. FTP. Apache. ISA, Exchange, Email and Proxy servers on windows and UNIX/Linux Platform. Should have excellent in Cisco switches and routers configuration. Very good hands on network troubleshooting/performance issues in Windows / Linux systems, Backup and Recovery tools, Windows Installation.
Terms & Conditions
a) General age relaxation of maximum five (5) years in upper age limit as per Government of the Punjab. S&GAD circular letter No. SOR-I (S&GAD) 9-36/8 I dated 04-11-2006.
b) Only short listed candidates will be called for test/ interview.
c) Incomplete applications or received after the closing date will not be entertained.
d) No TA. /DA will be given to the candidates called for test/ interview.
e) Already in service applicants should apply through proper channel and submit No objection certificate (NOC) issued by the appointing authority, showing that the department will have no objection to relieve, if the applicant is selected.
