Wayne Simmonds and Evgeni Malkin, each had a goal and an assist for opponent sides and Ilya Bryzgalov stopped 25 of 27 shots as the Flyers registered 3-2 win against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Thursday night.
The Flyers got 3-0 lead till th 14th minute of second half thanks to goals from Danny Briere, Wayne Simmonds and Scott Hartnell before James Neal and Evgeni Malkin pulled the Penguins back in the game but the effort from both player went lavish. Fleury made 26 saves in the Pittsburgh net.
With Thursday’s victory, Flyers moved past the Penguins into first place in the Eastern Conference by winning their fourth in a row.
