The financial magazine Forbes released the top 20 list of the stars who earned the most between May 2011 and May 2012. The ‘Modern Family’ star Sofia Vergara is on the top of the list with $19 million in 2011 with a great performance at on TV shows while reality TV star Kim Kardashian earned $18 million and placed at second position.
The 40-year old actress Vergara topped the list as she came form her business deals rather than her role on the award winning show as the Latino mother Gloria at which she earned round about $100,000 for an episode.
Forbes reported that Vergara’s huge earning is very less over her appeal and her ability to tap in into the $1trillion in consumer spending for the Hispanic community.
“If we really want to talk about Sofia Vergara, we’re talking about Sofia Incorporated. She’s earning more than $12 million in endorsement deals alone,” said Forbes writer Meghan Casserly.
