Jarrett Lee threw three touchdown passes and Michael Ford ran for two scores as second-ranked LSU got a 47-21 victory over West Virginia in the front of a sellout crowd of 62,056 at Mountaineer Stadium.

Geno Smith had two touchdown passes and Dustin Garrison’s touchdown run cut the lead but Claiborne’s return took the wind out of the teams’ sails. West Virignia has allowed 40 points at home in regulation for the first time since a 40-23 loss to Miami in 2002.
