Tottenham registered a 2-1 victory in a hectic north London derby against Arsenal at White Hart Lane.
Hotspurs produced their first chance in the seven minute when Alex Song’s pass permitted Van der Vaart to send Scott Parker clear into the Arsenal area but Wojciech Szczesny made an excellent one-handed save.
