Manchester City registered a 2-0 home win over Everton thanks to goals from Mario Balotelli and James Milner.
It was an interesting match, in which both teams began the game aggressively and created early chances of scoring. The first chance came into the game just in four minutes for Everton when Jack Rodwell struck from 20 yards as but his shot went wide. Only six minutes later, City’s Samir Nasri drilled wide with a cross-shot from the edge of the box.
