The Los Angeles Kings agreed to terms with Drew Doughty on Thursday to eight years contract at the worth of $56 million with an annual average of $7 million.
Doughty is among the NHL’s top young defensemen after three seasons with the Kings. The contract will make him the NHL’s third-highest-paid defenseman by average salary.
